High-speed steel bit grinding can be done under normal conditions. For large-scale concentrated grinding, the grade should be lowered by one or two degrees. If the bit (or tool) is small, lower the grade by one or two degrees, and use a grain size one level finer than usual.

There is no major difference for cemented carbide bit.
